Another Year Sailing San Blas: Thank You for Being Part of It

Reflections from San Blas: The People We Met, the Journeys We Shared, and the Place That Feels Like Home

As another sailing season comes to an end, we take a moment to pause. More importantly, we take time to express our gratitude.

First, we thank our guests. We are grateful to those who sailed with us for the first time. We are especially thankful to those who returned once again.

We are also deeply grateful to San Blas itself. This includes its untouched islands and timeless beauty. It also includes our Guna friends, with whom we have worked side by side since the beginning of this journey.

In addition, we thank the gentle Trade Winds that shape our sailing seasons. We are equally grateful for the generous seas that carry us safely from island to island.

Finally, we thank nature itself. Every day, it reminds us why San Blas is truly special.

Start your next adventure in San Blas, a truly unique Caribbean destination.

Over the years, and after 15 seasons at sea, San Blas Catamaran has evolved. What began as a simple dream has become a refined way to explore San Blas. Today, we offer high-quality sailing experiences in one of the Caribbean’s last truly remote destinations. Here, the islands remain uncrowded and untouched.

With every new season, our vision continues to grow. It is shaped by experience, guided by care, and grounded in deep respect for this extraordinary place.

To Our Returning Guests: Thank You for Sailing Back with Us

There is no greater compliment than welcoming familiar faces back to San Blas.

Many guests return for more than the sailing itself. They come back for the feeling. It is the calm of protected waters, the freedom of a private catamaran. And it is the joy of sharing exclusive outdoor family moments, far from crowds and resorts.

Our Crew Makes Everything Possible

San Blas Catamaran runs smoothly because of the people behind it.

Our international skippers, hosts, and chefs work closely with local Guna deckhands and captains. Together, they are the heart of our operation.

Their deep knowledge of these waters allows us to sail safely and effortlessly. It also gives our guests access to the most exclusive areas of San Blas, while keeping every journey authentic.

They are more than a five-star crew. They are the heart and soul of everything we do.

Their warmth, professionalism, and pride in their culture transform each sailing trip. What begins as a journey becomes an authentic family adventure and a meaningful cultural experience.

We are deeply grateful to our exceptional team. Captains David, Raffio, and Jose. Guna deckhands Adonis, Alex, and Beto. Chefs Vero, Ana, and Ornella. And Chris, who coordinates every detail behind the scenes. Together, they make every San Blas journey seamless, safe, and truly unforgettable.

Expanding the Fleet: New Catamarans, One Shared Vision

This year also marked an exciting step forward.

This year, we welcomed new catamarans into our fleet, including the Lagoon 52 Matilda Mia. She was designed for comfort, generous space, and effortless sailing between islands.

With each new addition, we reinforce our commitment to better logistics and improved equipment. At the same time, it allows us to include more services, without losing the spirit of San Blas.

Looking ahead, our focus remains clear: fully equipped catamarans, enhanced onboard experiences, and smoother operations behind the scenes.

For those who wish to be part of this journey, our Charter Management Program offers a unique opportunity. It allows you to own a catamaran in one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after remote sailing destinations.

Always Learning. Always Moving Forward.

At the end of each season, we take time to reflect. In doing so, we see what worked well. At the same time, we identify where we can improve. Most importantly, this process allows us to grow without losing what makes us unique.

To achieve this, we aim to deliver our very best by staying responsive, authentic, and accountable. As a result, your comfort, well-being, and satisfaction guide every decision we make, from route planning to crew selection.

Another Year Sailing San Blas: Thank You for Sharing the Journey

To our guests, our crew, the Guna community and to the winds, reefs, and quiet anchorages that define San Blas.

Above all, thank you for being part of this journey. Most importantly, thank you for trusting us to share what we value most: private and meaningful travel, deeply connected to nature, in one of the Caribbean’s last untouched destinations.

Whether this was your first visit or a return sail, we look forward to welcoming you back on board. In the meantime, you can contact us. We would love to hear from you and begin planning your next adventure.

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus remains on thoughtful growth. To that end, we plan to expand the fleet, elevate onboard experiences, and refine our logistics even further. In short, the goal is simple. Every journey should feel smoother, more comfortable, and more memorable.

Finally, for those wishing to join our story in a different way, our Charter Management Program offers a rare opportunity. Through it, you can place a catamaran in one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after remote sailing destinations.
